Hello hello! It has been a few days since the poll on what exactly you would like to see be made next.
This is starting to become quite the exciting campaign with the amount of designs!

This update is going to be long and we will cover the following:
- New stretch Goals
- New pledges tiers and add-ons
- Sock samples

Now let's get to it!

It seems as though some options for new stretch goals are very head to head (especially option #3), therefore I have prepared 3 of the highest requested items first!

In fact, so many of you have been supporting the project, that we already surpassed TWO of the next stretch goals, here they are!

We have finally filled up the Devonian period with a design! And if you're confused on why exactly it is a cephalopod and not an insects... well if you follow me on Bluesky you might have seen my rant...



*coughs* Anyway... ON TO THE NEXT ONES!

Lots of you requested mini pins, which can totally be done. Three of the designs will unlock at €4400. And I admint, the giant arhtropleura pin (which will be 10cm in length) is a little self indulgent, but self indulgence has never killed anyone has it?
As for the sock, well I don't have ideas right now, but if you guys break this record then I'll have to get to work!

One last one for the road as well... Because so many of you have been crying over this little velvet worm...



The Hallucigenia will unlock if we hit 200 backers! And it will be considered a mini pin along with the other three. There will be a set of them made.

Now, last update I have completely forgotten to mention new pledge tiers and add-ons that were added along with the unlocked stuff!

So here they are:

Two new pledge levels. Now keep in mind that the EVERYTHING PLEASE tier will not include these new stretch goals. The Double Set is made for group orders!

You will be able to add these both right now when editing your pledge, or during the survey.
Of course, with each new stretch goal unlocked, they will also be added until into the add-ons section!
The mini pins will have an option of a set of 3 or 4 as well.

I have FINALLY received samples from my manu, which has honestly been grinding my gears just a little. It was going very smoothly until they attempted a bait and switch with the fabric type. They WILL be bamboo socks, and I will darn make sure of it. This is prompting me to reach out to another manufacturers of bamboo socks to gather quotes and make another set of samples.

Either way, here are pictures from my current manu!

Now, I do mostly like these! But I am getting a slightly fixed up sample of the samples made as a sample. The orange one is the bigger offendor, where the placement of some designs need to be changed and a few thread colours. For the greens- I am simply going to try make the arthropleura's grey be slightly darker. Otherwise I'm very pleased with them!



The strange pink and bright yellow are going to be adjusted to different threads to make them be closer to the actual designs. I love how light plays tricks on you when the threads are next to many other colours. This will be fixed!

Now no one point fingers at the toes being exposed. The real and true intention of that is actually this


Yes yes 100% of the intention. The breathability of that will be through the roof. Trust me on this, I know what's best.

Now here's the thing, Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and I am harrassing my manus non-stop for quotes, adjustments, and plenty of questions of 'is this possible' and 'can you do this for me please please please'.



I need to get all this sorted out before they go on holidays!!! Each factory goes on holiday at different dates. It's a little bit of a headache, but they deserve the rest!

Thank you everyone for being so patient so far! And so receptive to all these designs. I hope you enjoy all the new stretch goals and get excited for when I began to finalise the artwork. I've been buzzing in my seat for the past week just thinking about this.

I didn't quite expect all of our stretch goals to be unlocked last night!! That absolutely blows my mind just how excited people are for this project omg...

So let's review!

Mini pins, socks, mega pin, and freebie postcard are now all unlocked!

That means 2 things! I need YOU to decide on the colourway of the Meganeura, and we should also think about possible future stretch goals!


The meganeura is going to be a large pin, with large transparent wings. 3 pin posts, hopefully, and screenprint. All the colours are based off of todays dragonflies.

Now, I can only attach one poll to an update at a time, so I will link the second one here too. You will have to click the big link in this update itself to be taken to it to vote.

This is for stretch goals, and what exactly you would like to see next to unlock.
Unfortunately polls are only 1 choice, which is a shame, so I am asking you to be very careful with your vote. You SHOULD be able to see who's currently winning, and I will be choosing the first three options that win into consideration for the next stretch goals.

I am BEYOND shocked at the reception to these prehistoric little creatchures! It seems like all that hard work has certainly paid of ;_;

Last night I was so stressed that I just had to close the window, go into a Warframe induced coma, and woke up to THIS!!

You know what that means!

But as you can see... one doesn't have its true colours yet... And that is the Renphasma. An old world stickbug! (anyone recognise the pose?)

I've left this one up for votes to those who have so far backed the project!


There's five options here, with different metals, colours, and techniques. All of these are based off of today's species. The only consistency in all of them, will be the screenprinted spots on the wings.

It would be very cool if several colourations could be unlocked from this one, but that really depends on how much funding we manage to raise in the end!

That said, the next stretch goals are all for the speciality stuff~ I'm so excited to see if the bamboo socks will get unlocked, I desperately want them to be made omg...

BUT!

With all the pins unlocked that means that the Whole Set Pledge is now unlocked too. AND, as promised, the double set for group orders as well.

Not only that, but there is also a Whole Set ADD-ON now. These whole set packs are cheaper than if you were to order them all seperately.

I've also had questions about acquiring all the designs without getting them as pins, as well as an option to get the old-world cicada wooden charm if you're not a previous backer. To which I say, I got you ;)


These two are now available as Add-Ons as well ✨

If you wish to change your pledge or add extra stuff, then all you need to do is go to your account > pledges & surveys > view pledge > and click edit. There you can change the tier and add any add-ons.

As we unlock new goals new add-ons will be added, and you will be able to change them at any time, including during the survey stage.

Don't forget that once we reach €2500, we unlock a new freebie as well! Which will be a community voted postcard design ;)

Hello everyone again, this is most likely going to be the last poll pre-launch as I'm both getting everything compiled together, and also preparing for two conventions.

Today I am introducing Titanoptera to you all, one of the main 4 pins to unlock with the original funding goal. And also showing off what the intro cards will look like.

Here it is!



This big bug is from the grasshopper lineage, but resembles a mantis in its build. Quite an interesting little fell don't you think?

Now here's the conundrum... do we choose a grasshopper inspired colourway, or a mantis colourway?

Hello everyone! I apologise for the second update in a row so soon.

As you all know, I am partnering with another EU project, Extrashvaganza by Annadrawsstuff, and we have been discussing what type of reward to bestow upon you for backing both of our projects.



Usually, each creator makes a mini pin (about 1in to 1.5in), and you receive 2 rewards if you back us both.
HOWEVER...
We have been humouring the idea of collaborating on a single large pin instead (about 2in or more), though it means there would only be one reward.

We would love to have your feedback on this, and have designs ready for either options.
